Joy Daniels was born in Quebec, Canada. Raised in a missionary's home, Joy witnessed people's lives transformed through the many revivals her father conducted. Joy attended Zion Bible Institute which helped and guided her in her walk with the Lord.

In 2009, Joy completed her Mortgage Broker education at Seneca College in Toronto, Canada. With a Mortgage Broker license, she launched her own mortgage company the next year. As she sought the Lord's guidance, He taught her how to put Him first in her finances. Then Joy saw how God helped her grow a very successful Kingdom business. Over the next 10 years, Joy continued to put God first and manage her business wisely as well as her staff of 50+ associates.

In 2021, Joy was offered an opportunity to volunteer at Favor International. She heard the Lord telling her to move to the Favor headquarters in Brandon, Florida with a goal of helping in any way she could. With this decision, there were many struggles and trials but the Lord was faithful through it all.

She and her husband gave up everything they had in Canada, selling the business, and moved to Florida. Joy wore every hat on the U.S. team from partner care and marketing to administration. Her tenacity at resolving every challenge made her a very valuable member of the team. In 2022, Favor's Board of Directors invited Joy to come on staff as the U.S. Executive Director of Favor International.

She oversees all operations at the U.S. headquarters. This includes attracting new partners, strengthening relationships with existing partners, and seeing the funds raised to bring the Gospel to unreached people groups. Joy loves seeing the Kingdom built, seeing souls won, and being directly involved in the transformation happening across Africa.

Joy, her husband Kennedy, and two of her three children are living in Florida, with one in northern Canada serving as a missionary. All are working and serving the Lord in full-time ministry.
