Training the Children

The mission of Favour Primary School is to educate the next generation of Uganda’s leadership on the Word of God, prayer, and academic excellence. Our school of 350-400 elementary grade level students receives kids from all walks of life, religions, and income levels. We openly teach and practice the Word of God, and these amazing young men and women routinely come to know the love of Jesus as they pray and see God move.
Whole families have come to know Jesus through Favour Primary, but even more importantly, these young men and women are building a foundation for lives of fruitfulness for generations. They are the future Godly leaders we pray for to rebuild and reform their cultures along God’s agenda.

We strongly believe that every child should have the opportunity to survive and thrive in education. The school has gained a reputation of excellence, some of our students have scored the highest in the Gulu district of 160 schools. We prayerfully accept creative tuition payment plans for families who aren’t able to pay tuition expenses up front. Favour Primary gives impoverished children the opportunity for education, and uniquely provides a Biblical foundation of ethics, morals, and spiritual growth.
Innovating New Bible Curriculum
Uganda’s education system is notoriously focused on rote learning to the exclusion of all other types. Favor’s primary school in Gulu, Uganda not only serves the community with tuition assistance and a Biblical environment with loving staff, but the school provides an outlet for better contextualized curriculum to train students with academic excellence. The “Roots to Fruits” curriculum developed for the nation of Uganda to expand and excel its educational foundation in the primary grades is in use at Favour Primary so that thousands of other schools can follow suit when the “fruit” is proved.
