We mobilize not just leaders, but whole communities
"This is what the LORD says: 'As when juice is still found in a cluster of grapes and people say, "Don’t destroy it, there is still a blessing in it," so will I do in behalf of my servants; I will not destroy them all'" (Isaiah 65:8).
It takes communities to reach communities as we teach the pattern of multiplication and accelerate our villages at their pace. What may seem broken and lost, the Lord can squeeze one last drop of blessing that could completely reverse sin’s grip. Favor’s Portable Bible School graduates often begin new churches in their communities and fill leadership roles in other existing ones. A life lived centered around the Word of God and prayer while consistently embedded in community sustains the heart transformation. Our vision is to see Kingdom principles established and sustained within every sphere of society - education, media, family, business, government, arts, health, and church.
Church Planting & Community Development

Church planting stands as another pivotal phase for a new believing community. We stress the importance of organization and the installation of good leadership before ever dreaming of the construction of an actual building. So, as we train people, we teach that the Church will always be a people, never a building, and it forms a foundation to see a church planting beginning well before a building is built.
The selection of the potential leaders is careful, but achievable. We don’t seek people to already be the perfect leaders, but good soil to further fertilize and water through deeper education and discipleship. Our Leadership Training Institute is one way we are able to continue their training, to then step into ministerial roles.
When we serve a community requesting the Word of God and training, we don’t just graduate leaders, but we ensure there are one or more healthy congregations before leaving. Like the Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:1-23, Mark 4:1-20, Luke 8:4-15), we want to be sure that our congregations are planted in good soil and can grow together. These assemblies accomplish more material heart transformation together than anyone can alone.
As a result, Favor builds congregations that:

- Prioritize the Word of God and prayer,
- Lift up the name of Jesus with their whole lives, and apply Biblical principles to every part of life,
- Seek denominational neutrality, or, if applicable, support other denominations in their area,
- Serve the whole community in compassion and humility,
- Multiply themselves through making new disciples and teaching them all they have received.
