Overview
Bring stories to life through video. As a Video Manager at Favor International, you will craft, produce, and manage impactful video content that supports a Christian nonprofit committed to transformational ministry across Africa and the United States. From pre-production to post-production, you will shape compelling narratives that advance our mission, communicate our vision, and deepen engagement with donors, partners, and the broader public.
This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States. The role includes occasional international travel to Africa (approximately once per year) for on-site videography projects. You will report to the Operations Director and collaborate closely with the marketing and leadership teams.
Responsibilities
Video Production & Editing
- Lead all aspects of video production, including scripting, filming, directing, editing, and post-production.
- Create both long-form and short-form video content, including promotional videos, training videos, documentary-style content, and social media clips.
- Ensure all video content aligns with Favor’s brand, message, and Christian mission.
Media Asset Management
- Curate, manage, and archive Favor’s growing library of video content.
- Organize and maintain media assets on Shared Drive to ensure accessibility and long-term preservation.
- Regularly review and refresh public-facing video content across platforms.
Strategy & Collaboration
- Develop and execute a comprehensive video strategy for use across web, social media, email, live events, and donor campaigns.
- Work closely with the marketing team to integrate video into broader content and branding strategies.
- Recommend innovative formats and platforms to maximize video impact and reach.
Fieldwork & Travel
- Travel to Africa approximately once per year to film fieldwork, interviews, and on-the-ground ministry activities.
- Capture real-life impact stories from those reached by Favor’s programs.
Ministry and Devotion
- As part of the Favor Team, participate in all required meetings and weekly corporate prayer times.
Reporting
- Demonstrate competence in keeping metrics and data on all media inventory and draft required reports for leadership as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in video production, editing, and content strategy.
- Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Ability to tell powerful stories through video that reflect and respect cross-cultural Christian values.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in digital asset management.
- Understanding of social media video trends and formats.
- Ability to travel internationally once per year for up to one month.

Compensation
Compensation will be fairly based on experience. Compensation may increase as the organization grows.
