Overview
The Social Media Manager will develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Favor’s brand, ministry goals, and fundraising objectives. This person will be responsible for daily content creation, community management, performance analytics, and long-term strategic growth. The ideal candidate is creative, data-driven, a strong writer, and passionate about global missions and the Gospel.
The successful candidate has the demonstrated ability to tell stories through short-form digital content across multiple platforms to achieve specific and measurable goals, and will have a portfolio showcasing past performance.
Because Favor is a ministry as much as it is an organization, all team members must align with our Statement of Faith and be willing to actively participate in weekly team prayer, worship, and ministry updates.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic growth plan for Favor’s social media, including measurable goals, audience targets, platform priorities, and engagement benchmarks.
- Manage day-to-day social media operations, including scheduling, posting, and monitoring content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Create compelling content (graphics, short videos, reels, stories, and captions) that reflects our mission, engages our community, and drives action.
- Coordinate with the international and U.S. teams to gather impactful stories, prayer updates, and program highlights from the field.
- Monitor trends and best practices in nonprofit and ministry social media to innovate and optimize Favor’s digital presence.
- Engage with followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely, ministry-aligned manner.
- Report on analytics and growth metrics monthly, using data to refine strategy and demonstrate impact.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing social media for a nonprofit, ministry, or mission-driven organization.
- Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong understanding of content strategy, audience growth, and digital engagement best practices, as well as data and analytics tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite, scheduling tools, and basic video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Rush, or similar).
- A strategic mindset with the ability to set, track, and report on KPIs.
- Willingness to participate in weekly team prayer, staff worship, and the spiritual rhythms that are integral to Favor’s culture.
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and a heart for global ministry.

Compensation will be fairly based on experience. Compensation may increase as the organization grows.
