IT Manager
Job Description
Overview
The IT Manager will serve as the primary technology leader, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive IT strategy, overseeing all systems and infrastructure, and driving digital transformation across the organization. This role involves collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to build scalable, practical solutions — from AI-powered integrations and KPI dashboards to cybersecurity and CRM management — that enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. We're looking for a mission-driven technology leader who thrives at the intersection of faith and innovation and is ready to build smart, impactful systems that amplify our mission's reach.
The IT Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Favor International is a Christian ministry, and this work is Gospel work. We are looking for a committed follower of Jesus who calls him Lord and Savior, holds to Christian values, and lives them out. For the right person, the mission is the reason for the job, not a condition they tolerate to get it.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a technology strategy aligned with Favor International's mission, growth goals, and operational needs.
- Manage and optimize our Blackbaud CRM (RE NXT) and all donor data systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards (Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau) to provide leadership with real-time visibility into organizational performance.
- Foster a data-driven culture by developing tools and frameworks for data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop AI-powered integrations and workflow automations using OpenAI, Google AI, and REST APIs to enhance productivity.
- Manage and maintain integrations between Blackbaud and third-party platforms, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Manage iWave for donor intelligence and wealth screening.
- Manage all staff devices via MDM (Intune/Jamf) and enforce endpoint security policies.
- Administer cybersecurity protocols: MFA, encryption, threat monitoring, VPN, and staff security training.
- Oversee network infrastructure, cloud services, and day-to-day IT support for all staff.
- Maintain the Favor International website and ensure compliance with PCI DSS standards.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and external partners; negotiate contracts and evaluate performance.
- Oversee technology project planning, budgeting, and execution — ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Establish KPIs for technology initiatives and report on outcomes and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational, donor engagement, and program management technology needs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT management, data systems administration, or technology leadership (nonprofit experience a strong plus).
- Proven track record of driving digital transformation and managing complex technology initiatives.
- Deep expertise in Blackbaud CRM (RE NXT), API integrations, and donor data management.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and APIs (OpenAI, Google AI) and workflow automation.
- Proven dashboard/BI skills: Power BI, Looker Studio, or Tableau.
- MDM experience (Intune, Jamf, or Google Endpoint) and strong cybersecurity knowledge.
- Strong experience in project management, vendor negotiations, and technology budget management.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with SQL, Python, or JavaScript is a strong plus. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative, mission-driven mindset with a heart for ministry.
- Commitment to the mission, values, and Statement of Faith of Favor International
