Spiritually & Physically Hungry

“For when you saw me hungry, you fed me. When you found me thirsty, you gave me something to drink. When I had no place to stay, you invited me in, and when I was poorly clothed, you covered me. When I was sick, you tenderly cared for me, and when I was in prison you visited me.” – Matthew 25:35

These are just a few pictures of the widows and their children from the Thoony Church in the Bor Jungle of South Sudan. They had been attending Favor International’s “Portable Bible School” having had nothing to eat for five days (unbeknownst to the ministry staff) whilst their beloved children had only gone without food for three of those five days. On the fifth day these women of God, out of desperation and a deep yearning desire to continue learning about their new Savior, came asking for prayer for their God to help. He did and on June 23 assembled to give great Thanks to Abba Father and to all those who made it possible for them to both continue to consume Spiritual Food while partaking of physical as well.

Everyone Jesus’s loving hands touched when he walked on earth received a blessing and because Jesus lives in you and me through the Holy Spirit, as we extend our hands out to touch humanity they too will be blessed. After all, isn’t it true that He paid a horrendous price for you and me so we would be blessed and so we could also lovingly impart blessings to those we find in need and want? Wow, what a glorious privilege it is to do so.
