Today, with fire in their bones, our African missionaries stand tall and strong, bold and brave. We are finding other leaders, leading them to Jesus, training them, equipping and empowering them…and then sending them back out! These are the mighty spiritual warriors, the missionaries, who have died to themselves and are willing to give everything for the sake of the Gospel.
We have seen over 15,000 tribal people discipled in this way so far in 2020 alone… and even more saved, as each Portable Bible School group evangelizes in their neighboring villages. This is already happening, right now right here in South Sudan!
The fruit abounds. Instead of going to war with neighboring tribes, they are going in with forgiveness and blessing. Instead of more ravaging bloodshed, they are picking up Bibles instead of bullets. They are disarming the hearts of the opposing tribes.
But we need to go to the next level now! People are dying every day. And there is such desperate need and hunger for the Word of God around us. Our native missionaries are Arabic speaking, and we are taking the freedom of the Gospel even into the surrounding Islamic regions.
It costs about $300 per month to send each additional native missionary out into the harvest field. It costs about $3,000 for each additional Portable Bible School. The people are ready to go as fast as we are able to send them! Time is of the essence!
We need your help to saturate these nations in eastern Africa with the Gospel, for together we can do what we could never do alone. Only as an army marching forward together, can we take a land from darkness to light, from fear to faith, and from wounded lives to worshiping hearts.
Favor International is a movement serving and training indigenous leaders in East African war zones to sustainably change their communities with the power of the Gospel.
With your gifts, you can bring the Gospel with discipleship…
We provide all services at no cost to those desperate for the life-giving power of the Gospel, in places where many others flee or avoid.
Favor is a partnership: first with God, then with one another. Will you join us on this mission?
